Pay automatically

AccountUpdated 2 November 2026

Turn on autopay and each invoice for your plan is paid on its due date. You approve it once, and we email you the day before your bank is charged.

Only the owner, or an Admin who can see Billing, can turn it on. You need a plan first.

Turn it on

  1. Open your account page and click Billing.
  2. Find Pay automatically.
  3. Pick how to pay:
    • UPI AutoPay – approve once in Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM.
    • Card – Visa, Mastercard or RuPay.
    • Bank account (e-NACH) – for larger plans. Set up with net banking or a debit card. It takes 1–2 days to start.
  4. Click Turn on autopay.
  5. Click Continue to approve, then Open the approval page.
  6. Approve it on the payment company's page. On a computer, scan the code with your phone.

The card says Autopay is on when the approval comes through. It shows the limit you approved and the next charge.

The limit

You approve up to a limit for each charge, set a little above your plan's price. A price change or a new shop then does not need a new approval. Only the invoice amount is charged.

UPI AutoPay and cards stop at ₹15,000 a charge. A larger plan needs a bank account.

If a charge fails

  • Billing shows The charge did not go through, with what your bank said.
  • We try again, a few days apart, and say when.
  • Your shops keep working. Click Pay now to pay it yourself by UPI or bank transfer.

If an invoice is above your limit, click Raise the limit, or pay it yourself.

Change or turn off

  • Change how – pay another way, or approve a new limit.
  • Turn off – stop autopay. You pay each invoice yourself, as before.
  • Paused it in your UPI app? Nothing is charged until you resume it there.

Good to know

  • dhivi POS never sees your UPI PIN or card number.
  • Autopay charges on Billing lists every charge and whether it went through.
  • You can still pay any invoice by UPI or bank transfer. See Pay for your plan.
