Confirm UPI payments with Razorpay
Connect your own Razorpay account and the POS shows a Razorpay QR for each bill. The bill completes by itself when the payment arrives, so the cashier does not need to check the customer's phone. The money goes to your Razorpay and then your bank, never to dhivi POS.
UPI received lists every UPI payment against its bill, across your shops.
Connect Razorpay
Only an owner or an admin can do this.
- Click UPI received under Money in the menu, then Settings.
- In the Razorpay Dashboard, open Account & Settings, then API keys.
- Enter the Key ID and Key secret.
- Enter a Webhook secret: any long secret you choose.
- Click Connect.
- In the Razorpay Dashboard, open Account & Settings, then Webhooks, and add a new webhook. Paste the address shown under Add this webhook in Razorpay. Click Copy to copy it. Enter the same webhook secret, and tick the events shown.
- Under Shops that use it, switch on each shop.
A shop that is off keeps its own UPI QR, and the cashier checks the payment as before.
Check the payments
Choose Today, 7 days or 31 days. Click Needs you to see only what needs a decision.
- On its bill: confirmed and on its bill.
- Not on a bill: money that reached your Razorpay without a bill, like a double payment. Click Refund to give it back, or Keep if you know why it was paid.
- To check: paid to the shop's own QR while Razorpay was unavailable. Check it in your bank or UPI app, then click Checked.
Good to know
- A UPI bill completes only when Razorpay confirms the payment. A screenshot is not enough.
- Razorpay charges a fee on each payment, and pays your bank on its settlement days.
- A refund usually takes 5 to 7 days to reach the customer.
- Without the webhook, bills still complete, but a payment made after its QR expires does not show here.
- To stop, click Disconnect. Every shop goes back to its own UPI QR.
- The shop's own UPI QR is set in Settings, then Payments at the POS.
