Sell on EMI with a finance partner
A customer can pay part of a bill now and the rest on a loan from a finance company, like Bajaj Finserv or HDB. The finance company pays you later. EMI & finance shows what each one still owes. It is in the menu, under Money, for a shop set up as Mobiles & electronics, or one that also sells phones. Both are set in Settings, then Kind of shop & POS.
Add your finance partners
- Click Settings in the menu, then Finance partners.
- Type the finance company's name and click Add partner.
Each shop keeps its own list. Switch a partner off to stop offering it at the POS. Click Rename to change its name.
Sell on EMI at the POS
- Add the customer to the bill first.
- At Pay, tap More, then EMI (with a finance partner).
- Select the Finance partner.
- Enter the down payment the customer pays now, by cash, UPI or card.
- Enter the Approval number from the partner's app, the Months and the Monthly amount.
- Complete the bill.
EMI needs internet, so the POS can load your finance partners.
Record the partner's payment
- Click EMI & finance under Money in the menu.
- Choose Still owed, and click the bill.
- Under The partner has paid, enter What arrived, the date On, and Their reference, the NEFT or UTR number.
- Click Record and the amount received, like Record ₹24,000 received.
If they paid less than the loan, the difference is shown as their scheme fee.
Good to know
- Kept in fees shows what the EMI schemes cost the shop.
- Choose a partner at the top to see only their loans.
- EMI money is not in the drawer. The shift's close counts it as owed by finance partners.
