The dhivi POS API — start here
The dhivi POS API lets your own tools read and change a business's products, stock, bills and customers, and send online orders in. Everything is JSON over HTTPS.
Your key
The business's admin makes the key in the back office — see Connect your website and other tools with an API key. It looks like dhk_ followed by twenty characters, a dot, and the secret. Send it on every call:
Authorization: Bearer dhk_…your key…Keep it secret. Never put it in a web page or an app a customer downloads — call the API from your own server.
The address
Every call starts with https://<your dhivi POS address>/api/developer/v1/.
Who you are
GET /api/developer/v1/meAnswers the business, the key's name, what it may do (scopes) and when it was last used. Use it to check a key works.
Shops
A shop's data names its shop with shop, the shop's code (shown on the shop in the back office, for example ADY001). The key must be given that shop.
